It's easy to be thankful and full of joy when things are going well. However it's quite the opposite to have joy and be thankful when things are not going well. However, if you think about it, what good is it to be grumpy, irritated and complain about situations gone wrong? It only adds to the situation.
Let me encourage you that when things are not going well. Give thanks to God for all the things in the past that God has blessed you with. Give thanks for salvation, for His precious love, for mercy, for forgiveness, for eternal life and all the wonderful things that God has done and has blessed you with. Give thanks also for Jesus Christ.
